Eng. Ishari Siriwardane

Ishari Siriwardane is the General Manager of Digital Transformation Projects at Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), where she leads the company’s digital strategy and project implementation across consumer, SME, and enterprise segments. With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, she has held multiple leadership roles across engineering, enterprise solutions, and digital transformation. In her current role since 2019, Ishari oversees the design and development of digital platforms and smart solutions that drive new revenue streams and accelerate SLT’s internal transformation agenda. She has also managed several national-level Digital Transformation initiatives in support of Sri Lanka’s broader digitalization goals.

Previously, she served as Deputy General Manager of Enterprise Solutions, where she was responsible for developing integrated ICT offerings for enterprise customers, and as Deputy General Manager of Enterprise Sales, managing SLT’s engagement across key verticals including banking, healthcare, education, and hospitality. Ishari is an award-winning contributor to the field, recognized with accolades including the National ICT Leader of the year 2024 (Female), Women Leadership Award 2019, the SmartHive xG Best Moonshot Catalyst Project (Awarded by TMForum at the DTW 2024, Copenhagen, Denmark), Best Open Innovation Project- Innovation with a Purpose Award (Awarded by TMForum at the Innovate Asia 2025, Bangkok, Thailand) and Best Research Paper at the 21st International Conference on Business Management (2025). 

She currently shares her expertise as a CPD Trainer at IESL, Visiting Corporate Trainer conducting Corporate Trainings through AIT- Extension, Thailand and a Visiting lecturer at the University of Moratuwa and Nebula Institute of Technology.
