Eng. R.M.C Rathnayaka

With over two decades of robust experience in the dynamic IT and telecommunications sector, Eng. Rathnayaka is a certified technical professional across Sri Lanka's leading telecommunication service providers, including Sri Lanka Telecom PLC, Dialog Telekom PLC, and Lanka Bell LTD. 

His career journey reflects an extensive hands-on involvement in a broad spectrum of technical areas, complemented by continuous local and international training on cutting-edge IT and telecommunications products and applications from global leaders like Cisco, Alcatel, Ericsson, Nortel, Harris, Tellabs, Red Hat, Microsoft, Sun, OneAccess, and RAD.Eng. Rathnayaka’s 21-year tenure at Sri Lanka Telecom PLC involved significant contributions to network planning, access network operation, VoIP operation, and data services, driving essential telecommunications infrastructure. Prior to this, he gained foundational experience in Transmission Operation at Dialog Telecom PLC and Switching Operation (Nortel Network) at Lanka Bell, each for a year. 

Beyond corporate roles, Eng. Rathnayaka has leveraged his knowledge as a Visiting Lecturer for five years at the College of Technology - Maradana, shaping future talent. Additionally, his three-year contract as a Management Consultant for the Ministry of Public Management Reforms showcased his strategic capabilities in ICT Solutions & Applications, Business Process Re-engineering, Software Development, and Enterprise Resource Planning.
